Visiting

The centre is a ten-minute walk from York station, on the far side of the river. There is no public reception: ring the bell at the Peasholme Green door and someone from administration will come down. Laboratory visits are by arrangement because the instrument rooms are usually occupied.

Answering the four fields below means the reply contains a scope and a fee rather than a request for more information.

Sending samples

Do not post material before we have replied with a reference number. Samples travel in an inert sleeve inside a rigid box; write the reference on the sleeve and never on the item. Material is retained for six months after reporting and then returned, unless you instruct otherwise in writing.
